The B-wing starfighter looks very unusual due to its unique design with a stationary cockpit and gyroscopically suspended main wing. However, this design allowed for a larger field of fire and poorer target acquisition by the enemy's sensors. In the Battle of Endor, B-wings were able to take out two huge Star Destroyers without any support.
