This paste-like polish was specially developed for use on painted plastic models. Relatively large abrasive particles, in combination with the paste, are highly effective at smoothing/polishing rough surfaces or polishing out paint inclusions such as dust particles (from the primer or from the painted surface). If the inclusion is severe, repeat this process until you have achieved the desired result. Use the original TAMIYA polishing cloths 300087090 to apply and polish. The following TAMIYA polishing compounds are available for other applications: 300087069 Polishing Compound Fine (for scratches and scratched transparent parts). 300087070 Polishing Compound Finish (fine particles / polishing out the smallest inclusions / give the last coat of paint or clear coat a special deep shine). Before applying more paint, rinse the surface under running water and allow to dry.
