With the Volvo FH16, TAMIYA presents the first truck with 4 axles and a steerable double axle at the front. The chassis has been converted to 8x4 and is the perfect basis for the tow truck. The crane structure is extremely robust and consists of many metal parts. The crane is powered by an optionally available ACU unit (order number 300056553). With this unit, the crane can be moved up and down.
The model is delivered as a kit and already includes numerous additional parts, such as photo-etched parts for the radiator grille, turnbuckles with chains for securing loads and much more.
The model has an impressive length of over 70 cm and is powered by the two rear axles. The TAMIYA TR Mighty Tuned Truck motor (35T) provides sufficient power.
The TAMIYA multifunctional unit MFC-03 (300056523) is recommended for the drive, lighting and sound. Due to the enormous length of the model, only the standard MFC LEDs need to be replaced with the special ones with a longer cable (300056549 to 300056551).
The FH16 is the first TAMIYA truck model in which the driver's cab is firmly bolted in place. This means that the MFC can be installed behind the seats and the interior is fully visible.

The model may have some sharp edges. Be careful when handling. Read the instructions included with the RC unit and keep them for future reference.
If you encounter any difficulties during assembly, ask an adult to supervise the work or a model builder with RC experience or a specialist dealer.
Only use tools for their intended purpose. Incorrect use may result in injury.
If you use paints and/or glue (not included in the kit), read and follow the instructions provided.
Keep the kit away from small children. Prevent children from putting any parts in their mouths or putting plastic bags over their heads.
